The competition sited on the amstel river asked to connect city through a bridge. The dawdle bridge is meant to break the crossing to engage with the urban social fabric. Taking into consideration the west bank of Amstel river and beyond ; is a happening social space with tons of cafes, restaurants and art museums whereas the east bank is a commercial hotspot, the bridge could be the perfect link between the two.
Planned as an extension of the streets and meant to disorient and engage the public with each other while exploring and generating fresh ideas by breaking away from the banks.
